Take A Break/Brake

Ever think about all the things we take breaks/brakes from? I just had a break from the blog here in case anyone out there noticed. I had a violent virus attack on my computer and it crashed. It was a break I didn't enjoy. It made me think about all the breaks/brakes I take every day, of every week, of the year.

I wake up, fall out of bed and the floor breaks my fall. Jeez its already time for my first coffee break. While I am brewing my morning coffee, I make a break for the bathroom. Before I can escape back to the kitchen, I throw on my brakes and get the grand baby a bottle and run it to the bedroom. I have to break away and get my coffee and then its time for my cigarette break.

This can go on for hours, I break from fast hence breakfast (usually junk food). I break for lunch. I break for dinner. I take computer breaks so my eyes are not square. I take breaks from the grand babies so I can keep my sanity. I take breaks from the hubby, he makes me crazy. I enjoy commercial breaks. I am the only person in this house that leaves the television on the same channel all the way through a show. We break up and make up. We break the mold. Some break the bank while others brake for animals. Take a break and stretch your legs or just plain 'ol break a leg. You could just make a break for it. My favorite was to take a break from it all. That has a nice ring to it. I always enjoyed taking breaks from work. Spring break rates up there pretty high.

How about a breakdown? That's no fun. A breakout can be bad, considering whether it is a contagious virus, inmate escape, or just plain acne. A break-in is pretty scary. No brakes or no breaks can both be a bummer. Whatever you do, don't break it off. How can we ever forget break-dancing. Don't break eye contact. Ever try to break the habit? Just break away. There is a break in the pattern. Slam on the brakes why don't ya? There is a break in the investigation. I want the break shot when playing pool. Don't ya just love vacation breaks? Did you know there is a break key on your keyboard? Break is also a horse carriage. Lets break for recess. Breaking a horse takes time.

Anyone out there coming up with more breaks/brakes ... let me know. Add on in comments ... See ya next time.
